hi John, thanks for your comment. No we didn’t plan it because it was a live broadcast, I had a fair idea the clowns would pie me but I had no idea to what extent! I had so much shaving foam in my mouth and I had to keep on speaking! They sent me flowers the next day. cheers, Ali

Hi Alison enjoyed reading your comments about your career in news broadcasting & sorry to keep reminding you about getting ‘pied’ in the face by those clowns on you tube but i do find it quite entertaining to watch every now and again but one thing that i would like to ask you was did you know that you were going to be ‘ambushed’ on the second ‘pie face 2′clip or being ‘set up’ by the ringmaster and those clowns when you were ‘pied’ multiple times or were you taken completely by surprise?

His book on Dreams, rather the book written by British Broadcast reporter following interviews with Dr Jung before his death: “Man and His Symbols,” written by a guy named Freeman, with an article by Jung as well as some of his followers. I had written down my dreams over a 6 week period after reading the book, and I feel I am close to understanding Synchronocity, a term coined by Jung, proving that Dreams and dream connections to conscious events in our lives are not mere coincidences, but a result of our unconscious on the world around us.
Pretty neat stuff . . .

I submerged myself in the writings of Dr. Carl Jung and have tried to pass on his teachings to others, particularly when I dream and get a match in my conscious “awakened” life later. It helps me to meditate and let my mind take a “car nap.” I feel more open to the moment. It is amazing how many mundane daily encounters can be filled with messages if we allow ourselves to only look . . .

Ah, I remember the book well, having first come across Idries Shah’s work in 1986. The book was produced by Shah’s Boulder, Colorado group in the USA and I enjoyed reading it, though apparently Shah himself told the group that the work had “failed”. The Boulder group was later taken under the wing of Omar Ali-Shah and — presumably — now by OAS’s son and successor, Arif Ali-Shah. Take care, eric t.

Delighted that you like my book – and my sense of humour! Would you believe the US publisher wouldn’t permit that dedication in case it offended their readers!

It might be a bit young for you but perhaps you would like my book “Felicity Frobisher and the Three-Headed Aldebaran Dust Devil”, which is downright silly.
